Developed in full collaboration with Dell Technologies, PowerChuteTM Network Shutdown seamlessly integrates with Dell VxRail Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) systems by communicating over the network with your UPS. In the event of a power outage, PowerChute can gracefully shut down your VxRail clusters using the VxRail API.
PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.5 supports Dell VxRail HCI systems
Graceful shutdown
Unattended, graceful shutdown of Virtual Machines (VMs), followed by the VxRail cluster consisting of hosts, avoids data corruption.
Automated start-up
Pre-configured start-up sequence ensures PowerChute powers on VMs to minimize downtime after critical events have passed.
Fully deployed within the VxRail cluster
PowerChute can be deployed within the VxRail cluster saving space and reducing hardware needs.
